On 17 January, the first group American students’ “Study-in-China” program kicked off at SIT’s Caobao downtown campus. Representatives from International Cooperation Division, Telfort Business School as well as American counterpart participated in the opening session.
“Study-in-China” program aims to provide the students from overseas institutions to undertake some short term studying with SIT. SIT will organize the lessons of Chinese, Chinese culture and International Business in order for the students to understand about China society and experience Chinese culture, while at the same time to enable them to grasp some basic Chinese communication skills. This first group of American students all come from American universities and will spend around 20 weeks with SIT for their study.(Ruan Qing)
