Program Objective
The Program’s main task is to teach students who want to improve their Chinese language ability in a short period of time. In the meantime, students will have the chance to experience colorful Chinese culture.
Curricula and Activities
—Chinese Language courses: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
—Chinese Culture courses(optional): Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, Taiji Boxing, Weaving etc.
—Activities:
Inner city tours are offered once a week (scenic spots, museums etc.)
Weekend tours are available at students’ own expense.
Study Duration
4 weeks. 20 teaching hours per week, 4 teaching hours each morning (8:30-11:50), Monday through Friday.
Application Deadline
—Regular Program: anytime to application, the minimum enrollment for each course is 10 students.
—Summer School: opening date is middle of July, Application deadline is June 30.
—Group application is welcomed and the courses and schedules may be varied according to the group’s requirements. Please contact with the International Students Office if you have any special requests.

Application fee: 350RMB (or 50 USD)
Tuition: 3400RMB
Application Qualifications
Applicants should be Non-Chinese citizens, over 16 and under 60 years old, in good health, and with reliable financial support and custody.
Application Materials
—SIT Application Form, which can be downloaded and printed from http://www.sit.edu.cn/gjb/index.htm
—Photocopy of the valid passport. Applicant in China should submit photocopy of current visa entra.
—2 photos (in size of 5cm *4cm).
—Pay application fee 350RMB at SIT in cash. Oversea applicants can pay by bank remittance (only USD).
★ All the above-mentioned application materials and fee (or the voucher of remittance), which will not be returned, must be sent by registered or express mail to us.
Admission and Visa
—Admission Notice usually will be issued to the qualified students within 15 days after SIT received the required materials and fee. Oversea applicants may receive the documents in electronic format.
