Shanghai Institute of Technology (SIT) is one of the 100 demonstrative universities of applied sciences distinguished by its Perfume and Aroma Technology program, and one of the first universities included in Shanghai municipal educational reform to enhance innovation and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to develop high-caliber talents in applied sciences who are ready to innovate and apply their knowledge, who have international perspectives as well as the potential to become top engineers. SIT has been included in the Excellent Engineer Education and Training Program of the Chinese Ministry of Education and the Ministry’s development of New Engineering and first-class disciplines.
SITboasts of two campuses – Fengxian campus and downtown campus, covering an area of 1428 hectares. To improve its global presence, SIT has been committed to enrolling outstanding international students since 2007. Our international students come from 58 countries, including Russia, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Laos, Comoros, South Korea, Ukraine, etc. Around 300 international students have graduated from SIT with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. This year, we have 51 undergraduate programs and 16 graduate programs that are open to international students.
SIT has established extensive cooperation and exchange relationship via various forms, for instance, seeking International Authentification for Engineering Programs, developing Joint Double-degree Program, carrying out Joint Education, and conducting Student/Staff Exchange Programs with over 100 overseas universities and research institutions in over 25 countries（regions) all over the world.
SIT has become an ideal choice for international students to study applied science in Shanghai.

2. REQUIREMENTS
（1）Chinese Language: HSK 4（210 points）above for undergraduates, HSK 5 （180 points）above or the undergraduate program was taught in Chinese for postgraduates.
（2）Age: Applicants for undergraduate programs shall be under the age of 25, while postgraduate applicants shall be under the age of 35 and 40 for master’s and doctorate programs respectively.
